This Turritella Agate is a black with interesting fossil inclusions. Turritella Agate is the popular name used for a brown, translucent to semi-transparent, fossiliferous agate found in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. Although the description of agate is usually with banding, this is the description given through my resources. This is a great way to wear some history - perfect for the fossil lover!
Each of my pieces are handcrafted and wrapped in copper. The copper wire is then patinaed, then I polish the highlighted area for a nice rich texture. Great pendant to wear year-round - especially while rock-hounding! Please look at all pics, I have included a photo that has a quarter comparison for size. ALL of my pendants come with a 18" copper necklace. Remember, spend more than $50.00, FREE Shipping! Thanks for looking! Please scroll over photos for enlargements.
