Item #OS1976
This HUGE Ancient Brachiopod Fossil Pendant was found in Stonington Michigan - along the shores of Lake Michigan. Brachiopods have a very long history of life on Earth (at least 550 million years). They first appear as fossils in rocks of earliest Cambrian age, and their descendants survive, albeit relatively rarely, in today's oceans and seas.
FOR JEWELRY ONLY: Each of my pieces are handcrafted and wrapped in copper. The copper wire is then patinaed, then I polish the highlighted area for a nice rich texture. Great pendant to wear year-round - especially while rock-hounding! Please look at all pics, I have included a photo that has either a quarter comparison for size - or my hand holding the pendants. ALL of my pendants come with a 18" or 22" copper necklace - this depends on the piece and whether it is a newer premium piece. All purchases of $75.00 or more will receive FREE Shipping! Thanks for looking and I look forward to sharing my creations with you. Please scroll over photos for enlargements. Please note: Photos of my jewelry are taken with the utmost care. I try to replicate the colors in real life as close as I possibly can through digital means. Review all of the photos for a piece...taken in multiple angles. I can not control the color range on monitors and other digital devices. If your priority is color, please check your selection in a few devices. Thank you, Gina
