This Ancient Brachiopod Fossil Pendant was found in Stonington Michigan - along the shores of Lake Michigan. Brachiopods have a very long history of life on Earth (at least 550 million years). They first appear as fossils in rocks of earliest Cambrian age, and their descendants survive, albeit relatively rarely, in today's oceans and seas.
Each of my pieces are handcrafted and wrapped in copper. The copper wire is then patinaed, then I polish the highlighted area for a nice rich texture. Great pendant to wear year-round - especially while rock-hounding! Please look at all pics, I have included a photo that has a quarter comparison for size. ALL of my pendants come with a 18" copper necklace. Remember, spend more than $50.00, FREE Shipping! Thanks for looking! Please scroll over photos for enlargements.
